Frequently asked billing questions
How are orders counted?
Every completed order for which a Purchase event is sent is counted. Test and cancelled orders are not counted.
How does billing work?
Billing runs entirely through Shopify Billing. You see the costs directly on your Shopify invoice. No separate payment required.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever. Paid plans can be cancelled at the end of the billing period by uninstalling the app.
Is there a trial period?
Yes! Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Additionally, the Free plan is permanently free with up to 50 orders/month.
How does a plan switch work?
Upgrades take effect immediately — the price difference is prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. You keep all features of your current plan until then. All plans — including Enterprise — are selected directly in the app's plan screen via Shopify Billing. No separate sales or activation process is required.
How do linked stores work in the Enterprise plan?
The Enterprise plan includes up to 3 linked stores. Every link is created after active consent from the respective shop owner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) through a two-step consent flow. The owner individually selects from 14 permissions which tasks to delegate. The consent is recorded pursuant to Art. 7(1) GDPR. Events of linked stores count toward the shared owner quota (100,000 orders/month). Two link types are available: 'Agency-managed' and 'Self-owned organization'. The shop owner can withdraw the consent at any time under Art. 7(3) GDPR.
