Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most important questions about ShopiPixel

GeneralWhat is server-side tracking and why do I need it?

Server-side tracking sends conversion data from server to server to advertising platforms like Meta, Google, or TikTok. Unlike traditional browser pixels, it is not blocked by ad blockers and works reliably even after iOS 14+ restrictions. The result: according to industry data, up to 30% more captured conversions and better data for your ad campaigns.

GeneralWho is ShopiPixel suitable for?

ShopiPixel is suitable for all Shopify merchants who advertise on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, TikTok, or other platforms. You benefit especially if you notice that your conversion numbers in the Ads Manager don't match your actual sales.

GeneralHow long does the setup take?

The basic setup only takes a few minutes per platform. For Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads you connect with one-click OAuth and then pick your ad account, pixel or conversion rule from dropdowns. GA4, Klaviyo and Custom Webhook are set up with a Measurement ID and API secret, an API key, or a webhook URL. ShopiPixel automatically validates your connection and immediately shows you whether it works.

GeneralCan I try ShopiPixel for free?

Yes! The Free plan is permanently free and includes up to 50 orders per month with Meta integration. Paid plans also include a 14-day free trial to try out all features. If the plan is not cancelled before the trial period ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription; the first charge occurs only after the trial period ends.

TechnicalDo I still need the regular browser pixel?

ShopiPixel uses a dual-track approach: We use both a web pixel in the browser and server-side events. The browser pixel captures early events like PageView and AddToCart, while server-side secures the important conversion events like Purchase. The combination delivers the best results.

TechnicalWhat happens during a server outage?

ShopiPixel runs on German servers with 99.5% targeted availability. Events are buffered and automatically resent during temporary outages. You can see the current system status at shopipixel.de/status.

TechnicalWhich events are sent to the platforms?

ShopiPixel sends all important e-commerce events: PageView, ViewContent (product view), AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, AddPaymentInfo, Purchase, and more. Depending on the platform, events are automatically transmitted in the correct format.

TechnicalHow does the attribution analysis work?

ShopiPixel sends all conversion events to all configured platforms — as is industry standard. Each platform uses its own attribution model. Additionally, ShopiPixel offers an independent attribution analysis using click IDs to show a neutral overview.

TechnicalCan I read from or write to ShopiPixel programmatically?

Yes — the Public REST API (Enterprise plan) offers three endpoints: GET /api/v1/events reads your events with pagination, POST /api/v1/events creates events individually or in bulks of up to 100, GET /api/v1/stats returns aggregated metrics with multi-currency conversion. Authentication via Bearer token, generated in /app/settings/api. Code examples in cURL, Node.js, Python and PHP at /help/api.

TechnicalWhat happens to my conversion data when a customer gets a refund?

ShopiPixel automatically propagates refunds, cancellations and order edits to the platforms connected to your shop. Once Shopify sends the corresponding webhook, ShopiPixel sends a correction conversion to Meta, Google Ads, GA4, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads and Klaviyo. Smart-bidding algorithms and ROAS reports therefore see the same data basis as your shop back-end — no more optimization against revoked orders.

TechnicalWhich platforms support refund tracking — and why not all of them?

Eight of the nine connected platforms process correction conversions through established API interfaces: Meta, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads and Klaviyo. LinkedIn is intentionally skipped because the LinkedIn Conversions API currently does not provide a correction interface — in such cases we would rather not send anything than propagate inaccurate data (data minimization). Each platform also has its own acceptance window (lookback window): Meta and Snapchat accept corrections up to 7 days back, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Pinterest 90 days, TikTok 180 days, GA4 425 days, Klaviyo unlimited.

TechnicalHow do I check that my tracking is set up correctly?

The easiest way is test mode. Enable the "Test mode" switch in the tracking settings, then place an order in your store and complete the checkout. While test mode is active, ShopiPixel treats every purchase as a test and shows it on the Events page with a TEST hint. Under "Check your setup" you can also run a self-test that shows "Ready ✓" for each connected platform. In test mode, purchases don't count toward revenue, conversions or ad conversions — your numbers stay clean. Remember to disable test mode again for live operation.

PrivacyIs ShopiPixel designed for GDPR-compliant use?

ShopiPixel is designed for GDPR-compliant use: Tracking and customer data is stored in German data centers, API credentials are encrypted with shop-specific keys, and personal data is never stored in plain text. Optional AI summaries process only anonymous, aggregated metrics — no personal data. IMPORTANT: As a shop operator, you are responsible for obtaining legally compliant consent from your customers (cookie banner).

PrivacyDo I still need a cookie banner?

Yes. Even with server-side tracking, personal data (such as email addresses from purchases) is transmitted to advertising platforms. You need your customers' consent for this. ShopiPixel automatically respects Shopify's Customer Privacy settings - events are only sent when the customer has consented — where required for the customer's region. The onboarding guides you through setting up your cookie banner and runs a live test to check whether a consent signal arrives from your store — so you can see right away whether, without a banner, no data would be captured in the EU.

PrivacyWhat data is stored?

ShopiPixel stores event data (which events were sent and when), pseudonymized customer data (for deduplication), and your encrypted API credentials. Raw customer data such as email addresses are not stored in plain text and are automatically deleted after 30-365 days (depending on the plan).

PrivacyIs there a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

Yes. By using ShopiPixel, you automatically accept our DPA in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. You can find it at shopipixel.de/dpa. The DPA governs how we as a data processor handle your customers' data.

PrivacyHow does the AI analysis work?

The optional AI analysis automatically summarizes your dashboard data and provides actionable recommendations. Only anonymous, aggregated metrics such as revenue, conversion rate, and success rate are processed — no customer data, no email addresses, no personal information. You can disable AI analysis at any time in your settings.

PrivacyWhat is Consent Mode Modeling?

Consent Mode Modeling is an optional feature for visitors who have not given marketing consent. Instead of personal data, ShopiPixel then sends an anonymous signal to Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — without personal data and without an IP address. Google only uses this signal to estimate aggregated conversions. The feature is available for Google only, disabled by default, and only takes effect once you explicitly turn it on in the tracking settings.

PrivacyWhich data is transmitted to Google?

With Enhanced Conversions enabled, ShopiPixel transmits hashed contact data (email, phone number) to Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — plaintext data never reaches the advertising platforms. If you additionally enable Consent Mode Modeling, a purely anonymous signal without personal data and without an IP address is sent for visitors without marketing consent. You decide in the settings which of these features are active.

Pricing & BillingHow are orders counted?

Every completed order in your shop for which a Purchase event is sent is counted. Orders placed while test mode is active and cancelled orders are not counted. As long as no advertising platform is connected and send-capable, orders are not counted against your quota — counting begins once at least one platform is set up.

Pricing & BillingWhat happens when I reach my order limit?

When you reach the limit, you have two options: 1) Upgrade to a higher plan, or 2) Activate overage billing (tiered by plan, e.g. $13 per 1,000 orders on Scale plan). The overage option is only available on paid plans. You'll receive a notification at 80% and 100% usage. You can find the overage settings in the app under Billing — click on your current plan in the top right corner.

Pricing & BillingCan I cancel at any time?

Yes. The Free plan can be cancelled at any time without notice. Paid plans have a minimum term of one billing period (30 days) and can be cancelled at the end of the billing period. Downgrades to a lower plan also take effect at the end of the billing period — you keep all features of your current plan until then. Cancellation is done simply by uninstalling the app.

Pricing & BillingHow does billing work?

Billing runs entirely through Shopify. You see the costs on your Shopify invoice. There is no separate payment to us - everything runs through the secure Shopify Billing System.

Pricing & BillingHow does a plan downgrade work?

With a downgrade, your current plan remains active until the end of the billing period. You keep all features and limits. The lower plan automatically takes effect at the next billing cycle. You can cancel a scheduled downgrade at any time. Platforms no longer covered by the lower plan are disconnected in the process — on a later upgrade you reconnect them once.

Pricing & BillingWhat happens to my data after uninstalling?

After uninstalling the ShopiPixel app, your tracking data, configurations and statistics are automatically and permanently deleted within roughly 48 hours (Shopify sends the deletion request about 48 hours after uninstallation), at the latest after 30 days. Encrypted backups are deleted within 30 days. Platform credentials are immediately invalidated for security reasons (no further data is sent to advertising platforms) — for OAuth-connected platforms, the associated tokens are additionally revoked at the provider, to the extent the provider supports token revocation; manually entered credentials are deleted locally. If you reinstall the app within this roughly 48-hour window, your tracking data is preserved. If your paid billing period is still active, you retain your plan and its features for the remaining days on reinstall (in line with Shopify's recommendation). After the billing period expires or if you initiated a downgrade to FREE before uninstalling, you land on the FREE plan. Platform credentials must be reconnected in every case for security reasons. Billing is handled by Shopify — ShopiPixel does not store its own billing documents. You can export your data at any time before uninstalling.

PlatformsWhich platforms are supported?

ShopiPixel supports: Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Analytics 4, TikTok, Google Ads, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads (Bing), Klaviyo, and Custom Webhook. The available platforms depend on your plan - the Scale plan includes all 10 integrations.

PlatformsHow do I connect my platforms — via OAuth or with credentials?

Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads connect via one-click OAuth: you click "Connect", authorize ShopiPixel and pick your ad account, pixel or conversion rule from dropdowns — no token copy-paste. For Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn you can alternatively enter your credentials manually if you prefer not to use OAuth. GA4 uses a Measurement ID and API secret, Klaviyo an API key, and Custom Webhook a webhook URL. Snapchat combines both: conversion tracking runs via a CAPI token, audience sync via OAuth. In the app, you'll find a link to the matching guide for each platform.

PlatformsWhy don't the numbers in the Ads Manager match exactly?

Small discrepancies (5-10%) are normal and have various reasons: Attribution windows differ, events can arrive delayed, and platforms deduplicate events differently. The important thing is that the trend is correct and you see significantly more conversions than before.

PlatformsWhy are my events not being processed even though they are received?

This is usually caused by missing platform configuration. For Google Ads, under Goals > Settings > Enhanced conversions for web, the method must be set to "Google Ads API" — with "Google Tag", API events are not processed. For LinkedIn, the Conversion Rule must have the type "Conversions API". For Microsoft Ads, a Conversion Goal must be linked to the UET Tag. Also check that the connection to the platform is still active and has the required write permissions. A complete guide can be found under Help > Platform Setup.

PlatformsWhy are cart events missing in Webhook-Only mode?

Shopify cart webhooks do not include customer data (email, IP, cookies) — a shopping cart is anonymous on Shopify until checkout. However, advertising platforms require at least one user identifier for matching. Purchase and checkout events work perfectly since Shopify provides full customer data for these. For complete funnel tracking we recommend Dual-Track mode (Web Pixel + Webhooks).

PlatformsWhy are no conversions showing in Google Ads?

Google Ads shows conversions with up to 24 hours delay. Make sure that in your Google Ads account under Goals → Settings, both 'Enhanced Conversions' (method: Google Ads API) and 'Enhanced Conversions for Leads' are enabled. Without an active Google Ads campaign, organic purchases are not counted as conversions.

PlatformsHow do I connect Microsoft Ads with ShopiPixel?

In the Microsoft Ads settings, click "Connect with Microsoft". The OAuth flow opens via Azure AD: sign in once with your Microsoft Ads account and confirm the permissions. Next, pick customer, account and your UET Tag from dropdowns. ShopiPixel checks whether an Offline Conversion Goal already exists and provisions one automatically if needed. After roughly two hours of goal propagation, everything is ready. No token copy-paste, no manual ID entry.

PlatformsDo I need special access or a pilot token for Microsoft?

No. ShopiPixel uses the official Offline Conversions API, which is available for every Microsoft Ads customer. Microsoft's CAPI is currently restricted to enterprise pilot customers — that would be a blocker for most Shopify merchants. The Offline Conversions API delivers the same functionality: msclkid-based attribution, Enhanced Conversions via hashed email and phone, server-side dispatch from Shopify webhooks. The only difference is latency: minutes instead of seconds, which is irrelevant for attribution and Smart Bidding.

PlatformsHow are Microsoft Ads conversions attributed?

ShopiPixel uses two matching techniques. First: when a user clicks a Microsoft Ads ad, Microsoft appends the msclkid parameter to the URL. ShopiPixel extracts the msclkid automatically and stores it in a cookie. On purchase, the msclkid is sent via the Offline Conversions API. Second (fallback): if no msclkid is available, SHA256-hashed values of email and phone are transmitted to Microsoft (Enhanced Conversions). Microsoft matches these hashes against its user profiles — plain-text PII never reaches Microsoft.

PlatformsWhen will I see the first Microsoft Ads conversions in reporting?

After setup, goal propagation on Microsoft's side takes roughly two hours — this is a Microsoft process that ShopiPixel cannot accelerate. After that, purchase events appear in your Microsoft Ads account under Conversions → Goals as soon as the first purchase is processed. Reporting data (spend, ROAS) becomes available in ShopiPixel within a few hours as soon as the first clicks are recorded.

SupportHow do I reach support?

You can reach us by email at support@shopipixel.de or via the contact form at shopipixel.de/contact. In the app, you'll also find a help section with guides. We typically respond within 24 hours, often faster.

SupportAre there video tutorials?

Video tutorials are in progress and will be available soon. Currently, you can find written guides in the app under 'Help & Documentation'.

NewsletterHow often is the newsletter sent?

We send our newsletter about 1-2 times per month. You'll receive product updates, tracking tips and best practices — no spam.

NewsletterHow can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click is all it takes and you won't receive any further emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

NewsletterWhat data is stored for the newsletter?

We only store your email address, chosen language and the time of registration/confirmation. All data is deleted after unsubscription. Details can be found in our Privacy Policy under Section 3.9.

NewsletterWhat's in the newsletter?

The newsletter contains tips on server-side tracking, new ShopiPixel features, best practices for conversion optimization and occasional industry news around e-commerce and privacy.

AnalyticsHow is the ROAS calculated?

ShopiPixel imports actual ad spend from up to 7 platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads) and calculates ROAS based on attributed conversions. This gives you a real ROAS instead of estimated values.

AnalyticsWhat data is transmitted during Audience Sync?

During Audience Sync, only SHA-256 hashed email addresses and phone numbers are transmitted to the platforms. Plain text data never leaves the server. Platforms can use the hashes for matching without knowing the original data.

AnalyticsWhat does the Customer Journey show?

The Customer Journey shows the complete funnel flow of your customers: from PageView through ViewContent and AddToCart to Purchase. You see the conversion rate between each step, bounce rates and traffic sources per touchpoint.

AnalyticsWhat is cohort analysis?

Cohort analysis groups your customers by the period of their first purchase and shows you how repurchase behavior and lifetime value develop over time. This helps you identify which acquisition periods bring the most valuable customers.

AnalyticsHow do the alerts work?

You define rules with metrics and thresholds (e.g. 'Conversion rate below 2%'). When thresholds are exceeded, you are notified via email or webhook. Cooldown intervals prevent you from being flooded with notifications during temporary fluctuations.

AnalyticsWhat export formats are available?

ShopiPixel supports CSV and XLSX for dashboard exports, NDJSON and CSV for Data Warehouse exports. Data can be sent to an endpoint via webhook, delivered via SFTP or downloaded directly. Automatic PII stripping is performed before export.

AnalyticsHow does data-driven attribution work?

Data-driven attribution automatically distributes conversion value across all touchpoints along the customer journey, with the weighting derived from your data. The weights are updated regularly based on your real data, giving you a realistic picture of each channel's contribution.

AnalyticsWhat does Creative Analytics show?

Creative Analytics analyzes your ads at the creative level: which images, videos and copy convert best. You see revenue, conversions and conversion rate per individual ad across all platforms — based on real server-side conversions rather than estimated platform metrics. Per-creative trends show conversions and conversion rate over time, so you can spot declining performance (creative fatigue) early yourself and optimize your ads proactively. Available from the Scale plan.

AnalyticsWhat is Marketing Mix Modelling?

Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) is a statistical method that analyzes how all marketing channels interact. Unlike click-based attribution, MMM quantifies each channel's contribution to total revenue and also considers indirect effects. To do so, ShopiPixel analyzes saturation curves (diminishing returns per channel) and runs incrementality tests. Available from the Enterprise plan.

AnalyticsHow does Multi-Store Management work for agencies?

The Enterprise plan includes up to 3 linked stores. Every link is created through a two-step opt-in: you invite a store, the owner confirms in the in-app dialog and individually selects from 15 permissions which tasks to delegate. Events of linked stores count toward the shared owner quota (100K). Two link types are available — 'Agency-managed' for service providers and 'Self-owned organization' for multi-shop operators. Each store remains strictly isolated, every action traceable in the audit log. The shop owner can end the link at any time under Art. 7(3) GDPR.

AnalyticsWhat are the benefits of Custom Domain Tracking?

Custom Domain Tracking sends events via your own subdomain (e.g. track.your-store.com) instead of the ShopiPixel domain. Browsers treat cookies from your own domain as first-party, which extends cookie lifetime and improves Event Match Quality. Especially helpful with Safari ITP and other browser restrictions. Available from the Growth plan.

AnalyticsDo I need the Headless SDK?

The Headless SDK is only relevant if your store uses a headless architecture (e.g. Hydrogen, Next.js or a custom storefront). In this case, the Shopify Web Pixel doesn't run in the browser, and you need a server-to-server solution for event delivery. The SDK provides a standardized data layer format compatible with all supported platforms. Available from the Scale plan.

AnalyticsWhy does the campaign ROAS differ from the numbers in the funnel dashboard?

ShopiPixel shows two different ROAS views: (1) The funnel/dashboard ROAS is based on ShopiPixel's own server-side conversion tracking across all platforms. (2) The platform-attributed campaign ROAS mirrors the conversion values reported per campaign by each advertising platform (e.g. Meta, Google Ads) according to its own attribution logic — it therefore matches the number you see in that platform's ad account. Because each platform uses different attribution windows and assignment models, the two values can differ. This is not an error but a consequence of the different methodology: use the platform-attributed value to follow the platform's campaign optimization, and the funnel dashboard for the cross-platform overall view. If a platform does not return a conversion value for a campaign, “n/a” is shown instead of an estimated value. Available from the Scale plan.

TechnicalWhat is the Consent Dashboard?

The Consent Dashboard shows you the share of your conversions that don't reach the advertising platforms for lack of your customers' marketing consent — broken down by purchase, cart and checkout. You also see the withdrawal rate, i.e. how often visitors withdraw a consent they previously granted. This lets you tell how much missing consent reduces the data you forward. All data is displayed in a privacy-friendly way without personal information.

TechnicalHow does event latency monitoring work?

ShopiPixel measures the latency of every single event from capture to delivery to the platform. In the dashboard you see the average and peak latency of your events (store-wide). You'll be proactively warned about unusually high latency or delivery issues. Available from the Growth plan.

TechnicalDo I have to renew my platform connections?

Usually not. The OAuth platforms Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads stay connected permanently after the one-time authorization — ShopiPixel refreshes them automatically in the background. GA4, Snapchat and Klaviyo are connected with permanently valid credentials that also don't expire. Only if you revoke the permission at the provider, or a platform requires a fresh authorization after an extended period, does ShopiPixel notify you in time via email so your tracking keeps running without interruption.

TechnicalWhat are AI recommendations?

AI recommendations analyze exclusively anonymous, aggregated metrics from your dashboard (revenue, conversion rate, success rate, ROAS) and give you concrete optimization suggestions. No customer data, no email addresses — only numbers. You can disable recommendations anytime in settings. Available from the Growth plan.

GeneralWhat is tester mode?

By invitation, selected shops can test all ShopiPixel features and platforms for free. The tester mode can be terminated by ShopiPixel at any time.

Pricing & BillingWhat happens after tester mode ends?

After the tester mode ends, your shop automatically switches to the free Free plan (50 orders, Meta CAPI). You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

AnalyticsHow does the agency accept flow work?

The agency link is created in two steps: 1) The Enterprise owner invites a store into the agency dashboard and chooses the link type ('Agency-managed' or 'Self-owned organization'). 2) The shop owner opens the in-app dialog, sees all details (shared data, owner identity, link type) and individually selects from 15 permissions which tasks to delegate. The link is only active after active confirmation. The legal basis for the data sharing is the shop owner's consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; the process satisfies the consent requirements of Art. 7 GDPR (freely given, informed, unambiguous, demonstrable) and is recorded in the consent log pursuant to Art. 7(1) GDPR.

AnalyticsWhat are the 15 agency capabilities?

The 15 granular permissions cover every task an agency owner can take over. Read (mandatory): view_analytics. Management: manage_platforms (credentials), manage_event_config, manage_tracking_settings, manage_gtm, manage_headless, manage_ad_accounts, manage_audiences, manage_alerts, manage_reports, manage_domain. Data: download_data (export), upload_data (bulk import), access_debug (debug console), manage_offline_deals (manage offline deals). The shop owner decides granularly which capabilities to delegate — only view_analytics is mandatory, all others are optional. A capability can be adjusted or fully revoked at any time.

PrivacyWhat's the difference between AGENCY_MANAGED and SELF_OWNED?

AGENCY_MANAGED: the owner is a legally separate service provider (e.g. a marketing agency) managing a third-party shop. The agency owner counts as a further recipient within the meaning of Art. 4(9) GDPR — they are not a sub-processor of ShopiPixel, but an independent ShopiPixel customer with their own contractual relationship. The legal basis for the data sharing is the explicit consent of the shop owner under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; the possibility of the transfer is disclosed in the DPA (§12). SELF_OWNED: both stores belong to the same controller (e.g. a company with multiple Shopify stores). No external data transfer, only internal organization. The shop owner actively selects the type in the consent flow — the app distinguishes both cases in audit logging and DPA handling.

PrivacyWhat data is shared in an agency link — and what is not?

Only data within the granted capabilities is shared: aggregated dashboard stats, event metrics, attribution data, audience configurations and — if delegated — platform credentials. NOT shared with the agency owner: raw customer data (emails, phone numbers, addresses — neither plaintext nor as hashes), Shopify billing data, bank details, and app-internal settings outside the delegated capabilities. Each store keeps its own encryption keys — the agency owner can only see/use credentials if manage_platforms is explicitly delegated. Every access is logged in the audit log.

GeneralWhat are offline deals and why do they matter for my marketing?

Offline deals are sales that close outside the online store — for example via phone, email, or video call. In B2B especially, these channels often carry the highest-value deals. ShopiPixel captures these deals and reports them as offline conversions to nine ad platforms (all except GA4). The result: your attribution reports finally include offline revenue, and platform campaign optimization learns which ads drive valuable offline deals — not just webshop purchases.

TechnicalHow does click-ID matching work for offline deals?

On the first ad click, each platform appends a unique click-ID to the URL (e.g., gclid for Google, fbclid for Meta, msclkid for Microsoft). When a customer later calls or emails, you can capture the click-ID in ShopiPixel along with the deal. On deal closure, ShopiPixel reports the conversion with the click-ID to the platform, and the platform attributes it to the original ad click. ShopiPixel supports nine click-IDs: gclid, gbraid, and wbraid (Google Ads), fbclid (Meta), msclkid (Microsoft Ads), ttclid (TikTok), epik (Pinterest), scid (Snapchat), and liFatId (LinkedIn).

PlatformsWhy are some offline deals not reported to Meta?

Meta (Conversions API) has a strict attribution window of 7 days click-through and 1 day view-through. If your offline deal closes later than 7 days after the original ad click, Meta discards the report platform-side — regardless of whether ShopiPixel transmits it correctly. That's not a bug but a limitation of the Meta API itself. For long B2B sales cycles, we recommend Google Ads (up to 90 days lookback) or TikTok (up to 180 days view-through) as primary attribution channels.

PrivacyCan I report offline deals without a click-ID?

Yes — ShopiPixel supports Enhanced Match via hashed email or phone number. If you have the contact-data record on the deal, ShopiPixel hashes it server-side with SHA-256 (plaintext never leaves the server) and sends only the hash to the platform. The platform matches the hash against its own user database and attributes the deal to the corresponding profile. Prerequisite: the customer has consented to marketing tracking (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Enhanced Match boosts attribution rates especially for long-running B2B deals.

PlatformsWhich platforms support offline conversion tracking?

Nine of the ten ShopiPixel platforms support offline conversions: Meta (CAPI, 7d window), Google Ads (UploadClickConversions + UploadCallConversions, 90d), Microsoft Ads (OfflineConversions API, 30d goal window), TikTok (Offline Event Sets, 180d/28d), LinkedIn (Conversions API, 90d), Snapchat (CAPI v3, 7d), Pinterest (offline events, 90d), Klaviyo (lifecycle events, ~1 year retro), and Custom Webhook (customer-controlled). Google Analytics 4 has no dedicated offline API — instead, Google's record-completion mechanism applies with the platform default of 365 days and no active offline dispatch.

Pricing & BillingWhat does the offline deals feature cost?

Offline deals, the event-trigger wizard with the Platform Event Picker, and the Shopify Flow Action are all part of the Enterprise plan. Details on pricing and plan contents are on the pricing overview at /pricing. You can select Enterprise directly in the billing screen inside the app — no separate enablement process required.

TechnicalHow do I create a Custom Event with the new Platform Event Picker?

In the ShopiPixel dashboard under Settings, Event Triggers, you launch a five-step wizard: 1) event name and description, 2) choose trigger type (webhook, Shopify Flow, API call), 3) Platform Event Picker — for each active platform you pick the matching official event (e.g., Lead for Meta, a Conversion Action for Google Ads), 4) payload mapping from event fields to platform payload, and 5) review plus plan check. On save, the event is live immediately and fires on every trigger call to all configured platforms.

TechnicalCan I connect ShopiPixel with Shopify Flow?

Yes — ShopiPixel appears as a Custom Action directly in the Shopify Flow editor. Prerequisite is a Shopify Plus plan, since Shopify Flow is only available on Shopify Plus. You pick a trigger in Shopify Flow (e.g., order created, customer created, product tag changed), add the ShopiPixel Custom Action, configure the Custom Event to send — and on every Flow firing, ShopiPixel reports the event to all active ad platforms. More details are in the official Shopify Flow documentation at help.shopify.com/en/manual/shopify-flow.
